My name is Rudy Morales and I thank God for my salvation and all that he has done for me in my life. I was born and raised in Brawley, California. My drug and alcohol abuse began in Jr. High School.
By the time I reached High School I was addicted to Marijuana, Cocaine, and Barbiturates. By the time I graduated High School, my addiction had taken over my life.
The realization of my full-blown addictive life-style was evident during my college years when my addiction was far more important than my education. My life was out of control.
In and out of jail, in and out of rehabilitation homes, in was a revolving door and I was tired. Sick and tired of being sick and tired. Most recently, I overdosed four times in a twenty-four-hour period.
My Lord and Savior opened my eyes and the first person I saw was Pastor Norm praying over me. I know the Lord heard the prayers and gave me life again.

I thank God that He brought me back to Turning Point Men’s Home. I have a new life in Christ. God did a miracle for me and brought me back to life, so now I live for God. I thank God for the Men’s Home and the mighty work the Lord does through His people.
I have been touched by God. My life is now restored in Him. I now feel God in my heart, and the Holy Spirit all over me. I study His word and pray continually. I am so very grateful for what God has done for me. I now have this unspeakable joy in my life that wasn’t there before.
Deep in my heart I find it hard to believe that I was brought back to life.
My deep remorse that riddled my life is gone. The pain and hurt I caused others has been forgiven. I have been set free. The grace and mercy the Lord showed me is available to all who confess Him as Lord and Savior.
I have been told that people can see a genuine change in my new life with Christ. As each morning begins, the first thing that I do, is get on my knees and pray. I thank Him for setting me free. It’s no longer I that live but Jesus Christ that lives within me. One thing I know is I will pass away, but deep in my heart heaven is my home to stay.
