"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
It will be happening on December 17, 2022, from 10am to 12pm at Turning Point Life Center.
For the last 17 years we have been serving our community in December with this outreach.
We renamed it after Mike Johnson 11 years ago when he went home to be with the Lord. It was Mike’s favorite day of the year, and it happens to be the day the Lord took him home, on December 18, 2010. Though he did not make it down to the event in 2010 he was so pleased it was happening.
We will be distributing food boxes to approximately 120 people on this day along with a bag of produce. We have been blessed over the years by our local farmers and their support with the produce. The food on the other hand must be purchased and that is where you come in. Each food box cost about $25.00 dollars.
It includes chicken, beans, rice, sugar, bread, cans of vegetables, cookies, candy, and a few other little treats.

Just send a check (memo: give-away) and we will make sure your giving goes to this wonderful cause. Along with food boxes we will be giving away gently used items.
We set up a big yard sale with all the stuff that is donated throughout the year and give it all away. We will also be raffling off about twenty bikes and gifts for the kids. If you would like your contribution to go toward a gift, write ‘Christmas Gift give away” in memo.
